This small (page size: 4" x 6 ½"), but beautiful hand colored, engraved print was published in 1834 in the Naturalist’s Library by Sir William Jardine (1800-1874). Publisher: W.H. Lizars, Edinburgh & London. Jardine’s stated purpose as editor was to direct general attention to the study of natural science.
