Hardesty was a publisher and promoter who published atlases containing state histories, engraved plates of civil war scenes, portraits of military officers, local maps of townships. He also published excellent copper plate engraved maps. This large, over-sized folding map is titled in the top margin. It is green, black and rose. The scale is 1"= 33 miles. A chart shows completed and projected railroad line. Excellent condition except for small chad-sized hold 1/8"x 1/16" above the first "e" in Tom Green County. This defect will not be visible when the map is framed. |
