"Eastern Half of Texas," George Franklin Cram, Chicago, 1892. (Image: 13 ½" wide x 20 1/2" high). Cerographic relief line engraving with counties in red and blue. George Cram was a noted Civil War veteran, writer and illustrator who served with the 105th Illinois Infantry Regiment. He founded the publishing company with his uncle in 1867. This large map identifies all of the railway stations with station stops along the line. Each railroad company is also identified beside the rail route. The condition of this map is excellent. This map is similar to an 1891 pastel map by Cram but this map is relatively scarce.
